Ad measurement for multi-location brands
Your ad platforms count clicks. Your sales happen at the counter. Countlift shows how many extra customers your ads brought into each location, what each one cost, and where to move budget to get more.

The problem
Meta and Google report clicks. Your POS, booking or CRM system reports sales. Nothing connects the two location by location — so budgets get set by hunch, spend that adds no customers keeps running, and local media that works gets cut.
How Countlift fixes it
Line up ad spend with daily sales at every location. Compare each market with a twin that didn't get the extra ads. The gap is what your ads did. How MarketTwin™ works →
Under every number
Your POS sales, a machine-learned baseline for weather and holidays, and the best-fit method for your data. Every result is back-tested and graded A to D.

Blind-spot check · 30 seconds
Your ad reports can't tell you which locations your ads actually fill. Put in a few numbers you already know and see what not knowing is worth.
Everything: Google, Facebook and Instagram, TV, radio, billboards, mailers.
A dinner check, a booked job, a new patient's first visit, a membership's first few months.
Most marketers think at least 10% of their spend is wasted, so that’s what we use when you’re not sure.
To earn its keep, that $2k would have to bring in 40 new customers a month at $50 each. Today, no ad report can tell you whether it does.
How we estimate: the share you picked of your monthly budget (10% if you're not sure). 78% of US marketing decision-makers believe at least 10% of their spend is wasted because of weak measurement (Haus, 2026 Marketing Decision Confidence Index, via EMARKETER, May 2026). This is your guess, not a benchmark for your business. Your free report measures the real number.

"Every multi-location operator asks the same question: which ads are actually putting people through the door? Now there's an answer."
Questions
Ad platforms credit the clicks and views they can see, and each one grades its own work. Countlift starts from real sales at each location and compares every market with a twin built from your markets where spend held steady. The gap is what your ads caused — walk-ins and phone bookings included.
Daily totals by location (customers and revenue) and ad spend by market — through a native connector or a CSV. No names, emails or device IDs. No data team either: Countlift runs the statistics, and Ask Countlift explains results in plain English.
Your free location report reads the history you already have, so results come as soon as past sales and spend are in. About 12 weeks of history before a spend change works best. For a new test, the test designer tells you up front how many weeks it needs.
Twins are built from markets whose spend held steady while another market’s changed, so always-on markets still count. If too few qualify, the engine falls back to a machine-learned baseline, grades the result honestly and helps you plan a holdout test for a clean answer.
Yes, it works for both, and no, it won’t replace your agency. Countlift measures by location, whoever owns the doors, with logins limited to each franchisee’s or client’s results. Your agency keeps planning and buying; you agree on where the next dollar goes. First Byte also offers managed measurement from $1,500/mo.
No. We don’t track phones. We measure your actual sales. Countlift never sniffs Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signals or buys device location data: phones randomise their IDs, and regulators restrict that data. It reads totals by location from your POS, plus door-counter counts if you add them.
